When trying to attach a file to an insurance claim from the Document Center button, the file is not listed.
Please make it so the attachments in the document center come through as an approved file type to be able to attach them to the claims OR allow claims to have .PDF attachments to them to assist with office headaches
Thank you for posting your idea! Insurance carriers only accept certain types of files, which is why PDFs cannot be sent. We will look into making this easier!
came here to make my own post but found this instead. INS carriers should definitely reconsider accepting PDF's, and now using a new clearing house it would be good to revisit this.
This would really be nice to have. I normally scan as PDF instead of JPEG...(smaller file size during my testing) everytime I need to add an item to a claim( Primary ins EOB, treatment letter from specialist) I need to scan the item as JPEG in order to attach them to a claim.
This really needs to be fixed. Huge PIA to have to convert things to JPEGs or try and take a screen capture of the document center everytime we need to attach something to a claim
