Our practice only has one dentist but we book four chairs at a time. I upgraded (regretfully) to Dentrix version 7.5 so that procedure codes would print out on a patient ledger but now the "provider unavailable at the requested time" warning pops up every time we open then close an appointment in the appointment book. Very annoying and time consuming. We know we have our dentist triple booked. That's ok because he does not need to be in the operatory the whole time with each patient. I need Dentrix to either remove that or allow each practice to turn in on / off for their practice. I'm sure it may be useful for a group practices but not for a sole proprietor that runs multiple chairs. We didn't experience this in G7.4. I thought that's what the X was for when determining the length of each patient's appt . Seems redundant. STOP THE POP UPS!. Keep it simple . Practices know how they want to set up and run their business. If you are going to add "features" please make it so each practice can turn these features on / off in their practive set up Thank you!
