A HIPAA Compliant View of the schedule for the ops. Patients are left in room with full view of the schedule open. There should be a feature added that in one click all patient names on the schedule would be switch to patient first and last initials.

The majority of offices are becoming paperless, so that means all ops are installing computer screens to shows the schedules and we need to follow HIPAA compliance.

There should be HIPAA compliant options - period.  When I am treatment planning & scheduling in our consult room this is constantly an issue.  I want to be able to see enough of a patient name to know if I can move them to another provider but be able to keep identity concealed.  I also want to see enough about the appointment to know why it is a particular duration but the patient I'm working with doesn't necessarily need to know (patient friendly yet generic - filling or crown for example).

You can change your view in the appointment book to only show first names or no names at all if you prefer.  You can also take off the hover option that pops up the patient information when hovering over an appointment.
