More accurate time clock in Dentrix

The existing Time Clock is useful but it is not accurate when calculating true overtime.  The law states that overtime is granted to employees when they exceed 40 hours during the work week.  Dentrix does not break down the work week in terms of 40 hour weeks.  Instead it combines the two weeks and anything over 80 hours is deemed  overtime.  That would be correct if it was cumulative (as an employer that would be beneficial) but it is not accurate.  If we could get a print out showing the hours for the week and then showing overtime hours for that week and on the next line showing the same for the following week.  The final line will show total normal hours and total overtime hours for the time period.

Remember to always include the details in your payroll reports and run your reports for your pay period.  Overtime is calculated from the beginning day you run your report and runs for 7 consecutive days.  Also in 7.2 and higher there is a new feature to calculate overtime after 8 hours in a day for the states that have mandated that calculation.
