Yes! I want to be able to include the patient ID# in my quick letters but there is no merge field for it! This would be so awesome!

Insurances are using numbers other than the social security number for the Subscriber ID, so a Sucriber ID field would be very helpful for letters that are going to the insurance companies.

Also the option to have multiple family members included in the same letter would be great!

There are features available in the Treatment Manager which are not available as filters in Letters. Treatment Manager allows filtering by insurance renewal date, but does not have street address as an available column. It would be extremely helpful to either add insurance renewal month to Letters, or add street address to Treatment Manager.

This is most important for our practice and patient information flow.

Would definitely like merge fields for fax numbers and email addresses for both providers/referrals and patients. Thanks

Quickletter merges do not export a specific set of Ccare data. The needs to be a means from the letter template name to force a specific data set. Otherwise the fields are useless because you never know what is going to be exported.

Most definitely a merge field for subscriber ID [primary & secondary]. Also, the subscriber's name [primary & secondary]. Guarantor is not always the subscriber.

Add a field for prior continuing care appointments. OR have a way to create custom fields.

I would like to see a mail merge field that shows how much the patient has paid out of pocket for the fiscal year. I am constantly writing letters for FSA end of year stuff.

An easy solution for you is to edit your word template. Rather than trying to use a Dentrix merge field, in Word | Insert | Date and Time, choose the date format and check "Update automatically". Each time the letter is opened for merge, the date will be updated to today's date.

At present, a document can be attached to procedure codes (in the Procedure Code Editor, chose Edit Note. You can add Recommendation Notes and/or Recommendation Documents). If those Recommendation Documents recognized and worked with merge fields, this would be awesome!
