We have updated to G7 and now can't archive patients. It gives a pop up saying that the patient has a balance- which is incorrect and the family account is paid in full.

To my understanding-I need to go into EVERY patient and change the parents payment into specifically listing the payment as the child making it to balance each patient instead of a family balance. This is crazy!!! I am trying to clean up our accounts and archive and now I have to adjust every patient to archive.. This is nuts!! The parents need us to list the payment with their name for health saving club cards records of payment. Not to mention- not sure if this would mess up some report for the accountant as we move payments around.

PLEASE, please have someone who knows this issue call me. I have spoken to several people- on chat and on phone and no one seems to understand how to archive.

    I have always had to do adjustments so each family member balance is zero. Tedious.

    Completely agree! This is crazy and such a headache!

    When we had G5 this was not an issue. I don't understand why this changed.

    The system literally has to be down to the exact penny to archive one patient even thought the family balance is $0.


    Has there been any work around this issue since orig. post?
