As there are becoming more ways and areas to change patient information besides just within the Family File (such as Questionnaires and the Quick Bill Email verification window), it becomes simpler / easier for information to get overwritten and changed. The Audit Trail should capture and record additional patient changes. For example, birthdate, email, address, phone numbers. Even status changes (patient, nonpatient, inactive, and archive); gender; and married, single, child, and other. Driver's license, Prov1/Prov2 - really, any change in the patient information should record to the audit trail.
