We would like to be able to color code the patient alert flags that show up on the Appointment Book. Right now, they are all yellow. We'd like to have color options to identify a balance alert (green flag?), premed needs (blue flag), severe special needs (red flag?), etc. Thank you!
We see a lot of foster children. The rules often change for these kids regarding parental rights. We often see foster kids who have NO contact with their birth parent and we are not allowed to give any information to the birth parent about ANY appointment information. This is CRITICAL information for dental offices. I wish flags like this could be written in red ink so that it isn't glanced over. Red ink would be used only for critical issues.
I would like my computer to simply "tell" me these things from now on. My eyes are weary. When I click on any patient, I want my computer to say "allergic to penicillin" or "bad debt" or "needs five fillings" right out loud so I don't have to look it up. And when the patient hears it, it would be a starting point in any conversation.
We are STILL waiting for this to be implemented. We think we had a fabulous idea! Looking for a way to especially and quickly identify Medicaid patients.
Sometimes we get in a hurry and scroll through the alerts, if they could be catagorized some how (using color code, either text, or heading on alert box), to alert each area that the alert pertains to them that would make sure alerts would not get missed.
Would like to be able to use colored text in the name field in the family file to diferentiate patients with a PPO/Network insurance or if there is a problem with an account balance. That would allow anyone making an appointment to immediately recognize any issue as far as scheduling. If we could use colored text in the family file, their name would be in that designated color on the appointment book, chart, ledger or anywhere their name appears. THANK YOU!
Especially health conditions versus medications! Keep the red cross for health conditions and have another color cross to show medication-related alerts like drug allergies, etc.
If Medical Alert - The "PLUS Sign" is marked in GREEN for One Medical Alert marked as "Healthy", We will not have to Open up the Alerts for Healthy Patients saving us lots of time on about half of our patients.
I use Red Charts for patients needing Pre-Meds BEFORE any Dental Work & use Bright Yellow Charts for patient with Latex Allergy. Regular Manila color for the rest. So, If we can use similar color coding in the PLUS SIGN symbol of Medical Alert - Green for Healthy, Red for any & all Alerts (as it is now) & Yellow for Latex Allergies - Half Red & Half yellow for Patient needing Pre-Med as well as is Allergic to Latex - It will definitely help in proper medical management of patient.
Agreed! This would help one rapidly identify the subject of a note. Actually, the pop-up itself should be able to be color-coded so when it comes up, anyone can tell at a glance the importance of the note.
We have a problem with some patients having a number of notes and staff tend t simply click through them, not reading them, to get to the module they want. Color coding would ensure significant alerts stand out and are looked at.
I would like to have the flags that pop up be color coded!! We find that most of the staff gets irritated with the flags and do not bother to view them. We have limited the flags where they pop up but still not helping.
It would be great if the premed was a different icon on the schedule instead of having to open every medical alert to see who needs a premed. Identify it with a pill so it's easy to spot.
With multiple providers in our office we would love a feature that alerts you when rescheduling or wait will calling an appointment that tells you that there is a coordinated appointment with a different provider. Ex: hygiene and x-ray (we have a dedicated x-ray technician), or doctor and hygiene.
I would like to have a Financial Agreement alert that can be attached to an appointment or somehow flagged for a due date so it will pop up and remind us to call patient. Currently, the addition of the color to the hand-shake icon is too subtle and there is no other way of knowing when a payment is due unless we manually write it as an event on a particular day or in the appointment book Note.
