Would also be nice to link if family members are scheduled together

It would also be nice to link families appts together. Such as if Mom, Dad and Kids are all in same time same day so you don't call to confirm three times by mistake.

definitely need this !!! so frustrating to move an appointment and the patient actually had other appointments booked after on the same day

This suggested improvement is for logically linking dependent appointments. In other words, you can't have a CRN SEAT if you canceled your CRN PREP appointment. A different suggestion is to have multi-appts for the same date "linked" somehow. If Dentrix's Appt Book was more graphics based (rather than grid based, from the old DOS days), you could have lines drawn between appointments for the same patient on the same day. If Dentrix can't do that, then another idea would be to either (1) have a single blink of all linked appointments when one of them is touched (or similar), OR (2) have Dentrix ask you a question "Do you need to change the other appts for this patient scheduled today?" (or similar). My preference is to have some visual alert rather than another pop-up question box (that the scheduler might ignore, like many other Dentrix alert boxes!)

Link appointments that are in the same day with other providers or if other family members are coming in so that when we call and confirm or move appointment we know that they have another appointment. (Pt's have different names sometimes so it not easy to tell)

Kindly create a chain link when there is a multiple patient or family appointment on the same day. Example, John is booked on hygiene @ 9am and he has an appointment at 10am for filling. Then, his son Craig has an appointment 10am on hygiene and Mila (wife) has an appointment later in the afternoon @ 3pm hygiene. These will minimize calling or reminding patient multiple times.

Have a colour bar to the right that would highlight the patient as having more than one visit on the same day. For example, in with the Dentist then hygienist after.

if a patient has two appointments, one hygiene and one treatment. If they are rescheduling, have a pop up to alert regarding other appointments it will affect.

In other dental programs I have worked with, if you click on a patient's name in the appinhtment book that has an exsisting appointment, the appiontment will blink alerting you if someone else in the family or the same patient has multiple appointments in the same day-could you do this as well? It would save on mistakes!

Would like to have option for a prompt to ask if we would like to sched insert/delivery appt after scheduling a crown/bridge prep appt. Or other multiple appts that may be needed for a multi appointment procedure (ie: denture, partial, implant). We presched those appts but dont always remember to. Kind of like how when a Contin. Care has a prompt when you set complete a CC appt it prompts you asking if youd like to sched Next appt. But instead of doing so AFTER appt, do prompt when scheduling the initial treatment appointment.

If a patient is seeing two providers, a pop up should alert us when either hovering the mouse, or moving one of the appointments to the pinboard. This would be very helpful to keep appointments together instead of accidentally splitting them.

Provide a way to alert that a patient has both a hygiene and doctor appointment on the same day. If a patient calls to change appointment and only mentions one then the other may be missed. Can't we get a Dentrix alert box that patient has another appointment on the same day schedule?

Creating a feature to be able to select "family appointment". When you select that feature you can choose anyone in that family (or on the same family file" and it will bring up a list of all family members under that family file. Then you can check mark all those family member whom you want to make an appointment for. Then be able to drag to the appointment where you want them. Or even making a pinboard appointment.
