Dentrix Ideas

Allow estimates to use next years maximums and deductibles.

Please provide an option in the Treatment Planner to give insurance coverage estimates using the next calendar year's renewed maximum. We often have patients that have met their annual maximum but would like estimates for work they plan on having done the next calendar year. Subtracting annual deductibles would also apply here.

We really need this too. We have several cases that run into two years and I have to spend an hour or more creating one on excel to properly present a treatment plan properly.

Yes, I agree this would be helpful. It would, of course, need to calculate the deductible also for the next plan year if there is one.

This would really help! Currently we have to print a treatment plan with the "Use Dental Plan Maximums And Deductibles" option de-selected. We inform the patient that the information provided is only an estimate and we show where they would max out and remind them that a deductible may apply. This is too much of a hassle. It would be very helpful if this feature were added.

This would be a great option to use. Offices would use it more than you realize. Our other software had it and we used it a lot especially towards the end of they year!

I was hoping someone would have suggested this!! We get requests all the time, especially towards the end of the year and it is very time consuming to manually white out and edit the treatment plan to reflect next year's benefits. It would be great if we could have a "Calculate for next plan year" option, but I would even take an option that separates the "Use plan maximum" and "Use plan deductible" for now. Thank you!
