Multiple CC Types to a Procedure Code

I would like to be able to assign 2 CC types to FMX Code 0210, so that when I complete D0210, BOTH the FMX CC and the BW CC both update.

YES! This would save the step of having to go in to change the BWX CC.

I agree! In our case, we would like to attach D0210 to both the FMX and BW continuing care types!

Definetely, the FMX should be a one-way link with the BWX so both get updated when FMX is updated. Thanks

For these people I have xtra cards on hand to hand them their appointment reminders.

I have this problem too. I have postcards on hand to hand write these patients their reminders.

I agree! It is very frustrating and time consuming to go through each appointment and attach current appointment so a postcard will print for their reminders.

We do this for our patients by setting their appt complete then right clicking to go to "other appts" and quickly attatching the CC to the next one. It only takes 2 seconds and no one is missed. Using the "other appts" from the list when you right click over any Patients' appt is a much faster way to find what you're looking for than using the "locate existing appt" icon on your toolbar. You never have to type in a name.

Jennifer Staff is right about reattaching the CC to the next appointment, but it would be nice if Dentrix could automatically attach it to the next recall appointment. Being that they are either all "Prophy" or "Pero Maint" appointments it would make it more effecient if it could just be attached automatically to the next hygine appointment.

Yes - It would be very helpful if the FMX would automatically update the BWX continuing care!

Combine FMX and BWX in the CC box. So when an FMX is taken the BWX date is automatically updated in the CC box

For instance, some insurance companies allow and fmx/pano 1/36 months, others 1/60 months. Allow pop ups to choose the correct time for that patient so it is not done too early.

Allow multiple intervals, or Continuing Care types, for D1110 and D4910. When I create an additional CC type, Dentrix resets to the default (Prophy 6MRC) after every appointment forcing my hygiene team to edit it after every appointment (wasting my time/money). If they set an override for the interval (4 months instead of 6), there is no way to see in CC that they are on a different recall. We desperately need more flexibility here, at least 30% of our patients are not on a standard recall schedule for D1110 and D4910.

To be able and have the FMX update the bitewing and PA continuing care automatically and not have to go back in and fix the dates. It's crazy that the system won't do it by itself

In continuing care box - bw due date does not advance when fmx is taken and set complete - it would be more accurate and less time consuming if the dates would sync ie: when fmx is taken the date for the next bw would advance 1 yr from date taken.

Suggestion: I think it would be a great feature to automatically add BWX procedure to a continuing care appointment if Dentrix can recognize that the continuing care appt falls outside of the annual range for BWX. Current Problem: The idea of adding BWX on an annual continuing care frequency currently is pointless. I have contacted support and was told the only way to have continuing care for BWX to function would be to set complete an appointment with only the BWX or set complete an cleaning with BWX already in. These options fail because: 1. No one comes in annually for ONLY bitewings. Xrays are taken in conjunction with a prophy and exam (typically). 2. If I set complete an appt with BWX in it they would not be due for at least another 2 recalls (1 year) so I would not want BWX to be carried over to the next 6 month recall - it would be at everyother visit.
