Attaching tooth number and procedures to clinical notes

We should be able to attach a tooth number and procedure code to clinical notes. Dentrix has the clinical notes set up for us to use templates to aid in writing the clinical note for specific procedures we do, however, since there is no way to add a tooth number to the note it becomes difficult to find the note for a tooth without looking through every note or try to find it by comparing dates. If we could attach teeth to these notes, we could then just click the tooth column above progress notes and see everything attached to a specific tooth in the same place.

Would also be nice to have a check box to have tx planned procedures auto copied to clinical notes or vice versa so we did not have enter twice!

I completely agree. In Eagle Soft, the note can have a tooth number attached to it, and then for any given tooth, it is easy to see the history (rather than having to re-read every single note for the patient)

I totally agree with ANONYMOUS -we should not be limited to a tiny screen, we should be able to search without closing the note. also making clinical notes searchable by tooth would eliminate the need for redundancy of charting in both progress notes (where we can search by tooth - thus provide comprehensive care for our patients) and then cutting and pasting to clinical notes.

YES!!!! Charting in Dentrix is cumbersome and we should be able to see at a glance what was done on the dates listed.
