An optional flag, to warn if I schedule a cleaning appointment prior to 6 months

A nice improvement would be an optional flag, to warn if I schedule a cleaning appointment prior to 6 months. Sometimes people will call for their appointment as soon as they get the postcard, and I'll accidentally schedule the cleaning too soon. It's awful to not get paid because it's too soon.

We just started development on this. There are no current timelines for when it will release and which version that will be in.

Great Idea! THANK YOU! Especially helpful when patients move appointments. Will it be possible to omit the flag if patient is 3 or 4 month patient? Don't want flags to pop up so much that they start to be ignored. Again, THANK YOU!!!

This HAS to be added! You can't know how much money offices have to eat because of this!

In G6 when scheduling start scheduling the appointment then click on the continuing care box it will show when they are due, then you just click on pinboard on the left side it will put the appointment in the pin board box and then look for an appointment for when the patient is due and just pull it in. Make sure your CC is set up for 6 months plus 1 day and you will never do this again.

I HAVEN'T SEEN THIS SINCE WORKING WITH PRACTICE WORKS IN 2005. THIS IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL FOR FRONT DESK PEOPLE AND PATIENTS APPRECIATE IT. I'D ALSO LIKE TO SEE A WARNING WHEN SCHEDULING SOMEONE WHO IS OUT OF INSURANCE.

More than that, add a frequencies field into the database so that we can note if prophy is 1/6 months, 2/CY, 2/12 month and it will alert if we are making an appointment too soon. We could then market target recalls better, allowing us to note when they are allowed another recall in the letter. Allow us to send recalls to the 2xCYs in September letting them know they have a "free" one coming up.

I like this idea too! It would be very helpful to not only us but our patients too who are concerned but not familiar with their benefits.

While you are add it please make an option to Not to allow a pt to have an “ prophy” contining care and a “ perio Maintanence” continuing care. Usually when pts have Scaling and root planning ( deep cleaning) they go on Periodontal maintainance. But a pt can not be on both. Here is an example of what usually happens at my office and is making everyone crazy. Lets say a pt is on perio Maintanence for their cleaning every 4 months. But pt calls to male an appt and the receptionist will make a cleaning appt and by accident makes a prophy appt. now this pt will have two continuing care. And eCervices will sent reminder for both. And it is upsetting pts.
