Once you set complete a root canal, Dentrix should pop up a window asking if you want to invalidate the condition of the root canal watch. This could be used for incipient decay too. Once you set complete an MOD filling, the incipient decay conditions can be invalidated.
Dentrix does something like this with impacted teeth once they've been removed. don't know if it invalidates the impacted note though.
