Soft tissue at-a-glance

Similar to the way we can chart existing work, tx recommendations, etc and visually see them on the pt chart, it would be great if we could visually plot a soft tissue note such as fibromas or geographic tongue, etc.

Thank you for the recommendation, we will consider this for a potential future release.

For further clarification, if you can please provide steps on how you would recommend this. would it be a clinical note, procedure for posting, etc..

Probably like a procedure for posting. In our system it is set up so things such as abfractions, fractured teeth, etc show up under the procedure codes list and then are able to be illustrated on the odontogram -- i.e. an abfraction can be selected from the procedure codes list, posted as existing, and then when we select the surfaces it shows up as a black triangle in the class V part of the tooth. If there was a way that we could list fibroma or amalgam tattoo or whatever we are finding on the soft tissue and then have it appear in the odontogram adjacent to whatever tooth it is nearest that would be helpful. Or if it's possible, even having the option of charting a finding between to teeth - say a pt has an amalgam tattoo on the buccal mucosa between teeth #4 and 5 - if we could create a visual marker to represent an amalgam tattoo and then be able to actually chart it so it shows up as a black circle (or whatever) in between the teeth next to which it appears. I hope that makes sense.
