It is my understanding that currently, the Day Sheet, Analysis Summary, New Patient List, and Custom Lists can all produce a different answer to the question "How many new patients did we see this month?" Since this is a key metric that most dentists would like to know, most dentists should be able to define the term "New Patient" in order to produce a list that is relevant and doesn't need much interpretation.
