We have noticed that the current Dentrix G7 software does not appear to allow us to set up multiple payment plan arrangements for members of the same family.
We would respectfully request that the Dentrix development team consider investigating whether a feature could be added to allow multiple payment plans to be established for the same family or account.
As a pediatric dental office, we frequently encounter situations where families may need more than one payment arrangement. For example, a family may have one payment plan for an annual membership fee and a separate payment plan for a patient who requires extensive treatment and whose family may not be able to pay the full treatment cost upfront.
Having the ability to manage multiple payment plans independently would be very helpful for our office and would provide greater flexibility for families in managing their dental care expenses.
We would greatly appreciate it if your programming or development team could consider this feature for a future Dentrix G7 update. If there is currently an alternative method or workaround that allows multiple payment plans to be managed for the same family, we would also appreciate your guidance.
