With the new dentrix update, when you spilt an insurance claim both claims become marked as "created" where previously they were both marked as "esent" The benefit of having them marked as "esent" is that you could enter the payments for the services received and for the services not paid on it would still be marked as "esent" therefore it would show up in your insurance aging report. when its marked as created it does not show up, and often times you do not appeal a claim by resending it electronically but rather online or through the phone, as when you do it electronically again the insurance claims often mark it as duplicate when they dont read the notes properly as they often dont! Please change this back!
