Insurance companies are requiring both a tooth number and area quadrant for Code D4342. They will not pay the claim unless both are indicated and you may not put in the claim remarks box. As of now, Dentrix does not accommodate the new requirement of the insurance company. The Dentrix representative told me the only option is to print a blank form and enter everything manually. This is really ridiculous. Please update the Dentrix chart/procedure code to enable us to indicate both the tooth number and quadrant. Thank you.
