Insurance companies depend on people not responding to a rejection or denial for other than plan limitations. A 3D image is an 'in your face' data point that makes a much stronger visual reference to the need for a proposed treatment. These images need to be easily incorporated from their outside originating source into Dentrix or Dexis imaging as an intra-oral image. See photos below of a worn molar which, if only presented in x-ray form, would be less persuasive to approve a claim. This tool is also a major enhancement of providing 'informed consent' and motivating patients to receive proposed treatment.
