I wish that with the new update, when I click on the Dentrix imaging xray icons, it wouldn't automatically open the Dentrix Imaging software. I wish it would give me the Imaging Peek instead... like it used to.
If I want to view an enlarged version of an xray, I want to do it quickly and not have to wait for Dentrix Imaging to open up and load. I already talked with Dentrix support about this issue today (Case #05504081) and he said that the software developers made the choice with this new update that have it automatically opens Detnrix Imaging. I miss the ability to view Imaging Peek whenever I clicked on an xray in the Patient chart.
If I want to open Dentrix Imaging, I can open it in other ways. I don't need EVERY xray and photo in the patient chart to link to it.

Until this is re-implemented (which I understand is being worked on), there is a sort-of workaround.
In the Dentrix Chart, the Dentrix Image toolbar has an option for "Show the Most Recent 2D/3D and CAD/CAM Images". Images clicked from this window will open the "Diagnostic Preview" window like used to happen when single-clicking in the Smart Image Panel.
