With my understanding I was told that after the upgrade is done to G7.4 I'll be able to send the walkout statements and payment receipts from the ledge to patients by email. I was very disappointed to find out that we still can not do it. This upgrade should be long time ago. So many other software are able to send the payment receipts and walkout statements with one click. As we are able to send the documents from document center via email, there should be an option to send the receipts and walkout statement through ledger. I am very disappointed with Dentrix.
Now with COVID-19, everyone wants paperless and contactless transactions. The number of steps it requires for one to send out an electronic receipt is super unfriendly and time consuming. This would greatly help front desk deal with all the extra time they have to spend on screening patients.

The ability to email a statement / walkout to the patient and not have to change your printer to dentrix document center is a must
