Adding date of birth to new patient box

When you make a new patient appointment. It would be nice to have the date of birth as an option along with name, address, phone number, ref source etc.

Dexis setting to prevent workstation from freezing chart (not allowing x-rays to be taken)

If X-rays are opened then closed on a workstation, this occasionally freezes that chart and will not allow the operatories to take X-rays in that chart until Dentrix is shut down in all operatories.

op set up

It would be nice in the op set up instead of saying just op 1 we could put the providers name next to it EX: OP-1 Jessica It use to let us do that, but I guess with the changes that was taken away. We need that back. It was very helpful

General Keyword Search Feature

It would be very useful to have a general keyword search across the ledger (for completed procedures), the document center, office journal..etc. That way we could compare similar treatment plans and/or insurance plans for multiple patients as well...

Alert to prevent adding duplicate patients

We often run into the problem of entering duplicate patients. If Dentrix could signal an alert that the patient we are entering is already in the system based on name and birthdate, it would save countless time and errors due to creating duplicate...
