Occasionally, the ledger displays incorrect amounts for what is owed by the patient or insurance (even when we correctly put in the the amount expected by insurance).
These discrepancies can result in under-collection or over-collection due to incorrect balances showing in the ledger. This issue has created confusion for both our staff and patients.
Misleading ledger information can lead to errors in collections, which ultimately affects revenue and patient satisfaction. Fixing this issue would greatly improve our workflow and the reliability of the system.
