We cannot access Dexis from the Chart via the tabs below nor can we open Dexis via the Green Launch Button; this is unacceptable because how can a dental practice function properly when you have removed something that really affected the flow for any dental business. Please bring these back; Smart Image is NOT user friendly nor does it help or better the practice flow.

Dentrix Imaging has been a nightmare. It is not user friendly like Dexis is. The layout, lack of numbering, and extra clicking takes up too much time. My work around for attaching images to claims is opening Dexis and using the screen capture option. Put it back the way it was or make it workstation specific with the option to use one or the other.
We had the green Dexis button on our button bar in the Patient Chart module up until this past weekend when we replaced ALL of our computers to new computers with Windows 11. When we reinstalled both Dexis and Dentrix, the green button was no longer in the Patient Chart. We have one lone computer for our pano machine that has not yet been replaced, and it still has the original software, so the green button is still there. We have to use that button to merge the patient into Dexis so that we can take x-rays in Dexis. We have had nothing but problems with trying to use Dentrix Imaging, and my staff refuses to use it. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not work.
Yes I want the sensor button to open dexis like it used to! We should not have to click multiple times to get the xrays up and ready to be taken! I had to make a Ctrl Q code to be able to make my own shortcut to get them to open easily. But would rather have the button back!
