Many posts have been made about this already but yeah, for a commercial software in 2025, Dentrix has a laughably limited amount of options for shortcuts and automation.
Forward/Back a day in the appointment book, sending walk-out statements to email, setting appointment providers, adding Tx to appointments, auto-population for commonly used phrases, etc etc.
All of this should be fully customizable to the users liking. This is a standard for enterprise software.
For a software as slow and poorly optimized as Dentrix, shortcuts are a must have. Not having them only compounds the problem.
