Having a system alert (automatically placed, not one that needs to be manually placed) when the patient is NEARING their max (say within $200.00). The pop-up could contain the remaining benefits for the patient.
When posting insurance claims, we do not look at how much they have left unless we get a claim that is denied/partially denied because of the max benefit being reached.
How nice would it be when scheduling or confirming, that an alert would pop up saying "Patient nearing annual maximum. Benefits remaining are $X.XX ?!?!?!?
