We use different colors to indicate communication w/ patients: i.e.: dark blue - email confirmation, light blue - text confirmation, green - verbal confirmation, red - no communication thus far, white - patient has arrived for appt. This has worked so well in the past because it allows staff in the back to check their computers and they know at a glance what's going on and when a patient has arrived and is ready to be seated. Recently, with updates by Dentrix, we no longer can use the light blue for text confirmations (all is dark blue) and when we check a patient in and change their status to white (arrived, ready to be seated), the computer AUTOMATICALLY CHANGES THE STATUS BACK TO DARK BLUE, EMAIL CONFIRMATION. Would you please check in to this and allow the status to stay the same when we change it in the office? Thanks!
