Currently, the ebill/quickbill statements that are mailed to our patients from our eservices subscription do not show a $0 payment from the insurance company in the amount column if the insurance plan makes a $0 payment towards procedures on a D.O.S., there is just a blank in the amount column for the insurance. That can be confusing to patients when reading their statements because in the item column it shows an "insurance payment" but yet the amount column shows NOTHING!!!! We were told today by tech support that it was "just designed that way"!!!
REALLY!!?? Well, how hard would it be to code a command to print the insurance payment as $0 from insurance??? You are receiving that EXACT information from Dentrix when we submit the statements for e-billing!! Just common sense!! PLEASE FIX!!!!!
