Hi, I am Dentrix user since 1999. I bought the practice I was an associate in six years later, and patients were not inactivated in a timely fashion by past staff, so plenty of people are still in the system who haven't been here in decades. The patient database is far too large to do this manually now, and it would take months to maybe a year if worked on full time. A bulk-inactivation tool REALLY needs to be made for Dentrix for users to specify a date since last visit to render a patient as inactive in the system. There have been plenty of, in my opinion, less than useful "enhancements" made to Dentrix over the years, and I view this as a feature that is way overdue.
