New Patient Appointment Set up

We came into the office today and had no warning that there was going to be such a huge change with adding in the new patients. I wish there was a review that would be sent out before big changes like this is made. This is not a good change in our opinion for some many reasons. One, if the patient changes their mind and decides to not come in or if the patient fails the appointment and doesn't ever reschedule that is stuck in our system regardless if you inactivate them or not. If you are a numbers office this is a huge disadvantage for the team. It will definitely play a roll in your percentages. It is also very time consuming when having to add a new patient child especially if the adults are not being seen at the office only the children. If this can be fixed back to the way it was we would be so appreciative.

    TERIBLE IDEA TO MAKE FAMILY FILE IF THEY DO NOT COME IN YOU HAVE WASTED YOUR TIME AND IF THEY ARE NOT DELETED, THEY WILL BE COUNTED AS A PATIENT.

    I agree one thousand percent. We are a pediatric office and this update is so time consuming.
