It is very common for the list of referral to be updated; some referred to providers have moved, retired, or deceased. More often, the dental office may be want to stop using a provider from referral to. It is very easy to ADD a provider, but very difficult to REMOVE a provider. I noticed we can only delete a provider if the referral count was ZERO. I am not sure why inactive patients are still included here- but there needs to be a better system.
