Dentrix should calculate how much insurance is used based on the date the service is rendered, not when the claim was created. For an ins that renews December 1st, and a pt is in November 29th, but the claim was created and sent December 1st, when entering the ins payment, it calculates beinfits used for December, not the proceedure date of November.
