When scheduling can be done by many different persons it would be very helpful to know right on the Appointment Book WHO scheduled that appointment. Accountability on scheduling could be addressed everyday. Feedback on inefficient scheduling ( ie a hygienist booking herself more units than needed ) can then be seen by everyone at the morning huddle and corrected instead of denied with "I didn't schedule it that way" excuse. Entire office productivity, training aid / discussion would be the benefit.
I realize some offices wish, for example, to use this field to designate a certain staff member be assigned to this appointment, but if an option on how to utilize this field in Preferences could be created Dentrix could satisfy both! Thank you!!
This is already a feature if you have enabled passwords for each staff member to log into Dentrix. Every appointment states who created it in the top right corner. In the history section, of each appointment, it will also log every change made: length change/room change/date change/time change etc with the providers name right after it.
