Cross Referencing of EOBs by patient name and date. Currently we can only search documents in the patient file only. (There are other categories but they are by insurance/provider and large categories. By date it would be a much smaller search field). EOBs are necessary for account audits and lost or misfiled documents mean lengthy calls to insurance companies. Incorrectly filed documents could be found under a new "date" option (of service or visit) in one of the categories under Modify Document Attachments by having a calendar pop up with a calendar so that it can be copied to that date also. Also lost paperwork such as new patient paperwork could be found by this method.
