One Easy solution I found for for a problem Dentrix has not addressed to patients being able to sign on iPads at the office or with their devices at home is adding a required check box at the end that says that by typing your name you are electronically signing the form. so technically this is a signature, I see it all the time in other offices medical practices and even hospitals using this method, the only downside to this work around is that the software it self does not recognize it his as a signature, but it would be nice if they can at this very simple solution.
