Sometimes we want to run a quick custom list report on the server which may not have excel. In this case, you can open using List Manager. If you are looking to see how many patients fit certain criteria, you would have to copy this list, save to a text file, import into excel so that you can see how many rows are there. If you add a row number to the list manager, there is no need to export to excel. For example, if you want to see how many patients visited in the last year, just generate the report on the server and look at how many rows.
