In the Family File for each patient, just as there are boxes for privacy requests that can be checked, PLEASE add HIPAA and PRE-MED boxes which can be check marked. When HIPAA is checked (indicating pt signed acknowledgement), a "H" icon (like the ins eligibility icon) will show on appt's. When PRE-MED is checked, an icon that looks like a medication pill/capsule will be displayed on appt. These icons should be easily displayed on the appointment just like a "flag" or "med" icon. It will be a big time saver because we will have a quick view instead of having to open up the patient file and medical history on a crazy-busy day. - Michelle

The HIPAA should have a checkbox response and the person or peoples names that can have access. When you are on the phone it takes to long to verify if the person you are talking to has access. This should be in the Family File, auto populate off a questionnaire form.
