We would like to rename the New Patient Forms as the link that we are also using on the website is both for new and existing patients. Though it is a new patient journey link, that is only the best link to use without the need for patients to enter username and password.

The "Check - in" link problem is equally frustrating -- the text needs to be editable, or just changed to request form updates rather than checking in. When you say 'check in', patients ignore the text until they arrive in the office (sometimes late) which means their forms don't get filled out and then reviewed on time.
By saying, "Check in", they think they either are not going to to do it until they get here, or they just aren't going to to do it at all. This goes for existing patients, too. A better phrase would be, "Please click the link below to update your forms before your appointment". This is a big problem in our office.
