When you remove coverage from the policy holder, it stays in all the dependent's chart - you have to manually delete them from each patient. If it is removed from the policy holder, no one should have it.
There should also be a quicker way to add insurance to each patient - maybe next to the "clear primary" button, there could be another that opens a check box window for covered patients where it can be added to anyone on the family file without having to open each patient's file - with two columns of boxes to check if it is primary or secondary.
Yes! That was kind of where my mind was headed with the check box window - never had the Active Duty example in our office, but there are pediatric only policies and it shows the parents have dual when they don't. There is a drop menu in the insurance coverage area that has "children only," but I don't know that it does anything other than say that. Haha.
I love this idea! One issue is sometimes I want to drop a policy from the subscriber, but keep it on dependents. Ex: Active Duty member will carry the policy, but only dependents are covered. I would like there to be a checkbox as an option to drop for all, but not auto.
