In the Treatment Planner of the Patient Chart, when assigning treatment visits, have the next numbered treatment move up in sequence. For example, if you had a filling on tooth #3 as visit number 1 and a crown on tooth #5 as visit number 2 and the filling was completed, the crown would then move to visit number 1.
