I think there should be a way for hygienist (or other providers) to create a new clinical note and for Dentrix to recognize the provider based on the sign in information. For example, when I go to "new clinical note," it opens a new note and where it gives the date and time stamp, it has the provider number in brackets. For example: [DDS1]. I have to manually change this every time to my provider number every single time I make a new clinical note, for example [HYG1], for it to make it easier in the future to find the last time I personally saw this patient. Adding a feature that recognizes a provider when they first sign in to Dentrix will allow the clinical note to be created under that provider.
