It would be beneficial to have the select patient button on the top of the appointment book page, to just be able to click the select patient button and then type in the patient's name or search the patient without having to click file and then select patient. The actual button is next to the other buttons like in the ledger and other areas but it isn't on the top of the main appointment book page, and it needs to be! Its one of the main used buttons. This would make things so much more efficient in my opinion. Thank you for considering making a change to this.

It would be very helpful to have the select patient button put back on the appointment book. It's more work to do SHIFT and F2, other than just clicking an icon. It's in the other others of dentrix and is a feature that we and my staff use a lot. This change would definitely make it more efficient in our opinion as well! Please reconsider this update!
