Beginning with Dentrix G7.4, the Insurance Benefits and Coverage area was introduced. With it came an option to choose a Benefit Begin Date for the patient and the subscriber.
Are there any plans to allow the "Procedures Not Attached to Insurance" report to work based off of that benefit begin date? Currently it just looks to see if the patent has insurance in their Family File and procedures completed in the report's date range. If so, claims are created for the procedures using the current insurance information. If the benefits were not in effect as of the procedure dates, those claims should not really be created.
If this change were made, I would suggest adding a radio button option allowing the user to report on procedures based on the new criteria or the current criteria.
