The follow up text that is sent to patients, thanking them for visiting and asking them to review their experience should not be linked to their ledger. We post DNKA or patient cancelation in the patient ledger to keep track and or charge for missed appointments. In the event that WE need to change a patient appointment and we post this in the ledger, patients are being asked to review us.....WE just changed their appointment so they are not going to leave us the best review! These patients should not get a follow text thanking them for visiting our office. Just a suggestion - the follow up text should come from the appointment itself being completed or fulfilled rather than a charge or post to patient ledger.
