We have patients that need extra special care (high fears, difficult patient, special needs) and those appointments can be exhausting for the provider, so we usually don't want to schedule anything around it (so doctor is able to focus on that patient only) and we don't want to schedule multiple special care appointments on the same day and exhaust our provider. Having a designated icon for this type of appointment on the UR corner of the appointment when looking at the schedule (like the E icon for eligibility or music note icon for notes) will allow you to see at a glance that a TLC appt is scheduled and not to schedule multiple TLC appts in the same day or schedule something at the same time. maybe a heart or bow or puzzle piece icon meaning TLC. The problem with the music note icon is that it means there are notes in the appointment that could be about anything so you have to investigate those before scheduling. The same with the flag icon it could mean so many different things that you have to investigate before scheduling and you don't have that time when the patient is in front of you waiting to schedule.
