Currently, New patients are tallied at the time the patient is converted to an active patient and not when the patient is seen for the first time. In order for patients to get appointment reminders and coorespondance, the patient has to be active. This is making our New patient numbers inaccurate. I'd like to see a better way of tallying new patient that would provide a more accurate count such as a way to filter when create the New patient list.
