Setting up Dentrix on a new machine should be as simple as pointing the installation to the MSSQL server. All settings (doc center, docs, eclaims, etc) should be stored there instead of in the registry. Personally, I would prefer everything (all files: WMF, ZED, etc) to be in the database. That way all I have to backup is the MSSQL database files. Everything would be included.
