Have an alert come up if a patient is already scheduled for a prophy or any similar appointments within 30/60 days of the appointment date. We schedule prophy appointments 6 months in advance. Sometimes the patient forgets that and calls to schedule. Unless we look in patient info, there is no other way to alert us that they are already scheduled and we end up scheduling the patient twice and a majority of the time, they no show one of the appointments.
