It would be helpful for claims to remain open when we have only received a partial payment so that 1. Pts aren't being billed for a balance that they do not yet owe. 2. Helps us to continue to check on these dental claims.

This is already a feature. Click / highlight on the claim in the ledger. Don't open it. Go to Insurance at the top and scroll to split claim. This allows you to move procedures to a separate claim.
